Harita-Haram at Bhavan’s Vivekananda College - A Mega Tree Plantation Programme

As a part of the ongoing Harita-Haram programme envisaged by the Telangana govt. , Bhavan’s Vivekananda College, Sainikpuri has taken the initiative to extend the massive tree plantation program to the college premises. The college wants to be a part of the noble endeavour of the govt. ,to increase the green cover in the state.

On 23rd July, 2016 , the N.C.C wing , the N.S.S wing , the gre Energy student club and the hundreds of student volunteers of the college participated in the tree plantation program with great enthusiasm . The dignitaries , Air cmde (retd) JLN Sastry, Vice-Chairman, BVB ; ,;Col. M Vijay Rao, Hon. Director , BVC ; Prof. Y. Ashok Principal,BVC ;, Smt Niraimati Vice-Princincipal ,BVC and the teaching staff participated in the tree plantation programme alongwith the students.

The special invitees for the day were Mr Ramachandra Reddy,IAS, Incharge DCP, Malkajigiri ; Mr Mohd. Rafiq, ACP, Alwal ; Dr. Maitri and Mrs Jyoti of GHMC.
