Deepika Padukone has been named as a global disruptor of the year by the international magazine Deadline. The 'Jawan' and 'Pathaan' actor is the only Indian celebrity to find her name in the list. Deepika's name is found alongside the likes of Eva Longoria, Uma Thurman, and Lee Sung Jin as disruptors for the class of movers & shakers.
Deepika's fans are elated with the development. "Even though she hasn't had a female-centric film in years, she is more popular than a lot of male Bollywood stars," a fan wrote.
On the work front, the ravishing beauty will soon be seen in Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The film's animated prelude will be streamed from the first week of June on a streaming platform. The 4-episode series will be released as a prelude to the movie, which hits the cinemas on June 27.
